Dr. Binod K. Chaudhary is the Chairman of CG Corp Global, a multi-dimensional conglomerate with a portfolio of over 100 businesses spread over 30 countries with a 10,000 - strong staff. Some of the major businesses of the group are present in the US, Africa, Dubai, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, India, Nepal and China.

He is the only Forbes-listed billionaire from the Himalayan republic of Nepal. Some of his core strengths are his vision for the future, an unshakable commitment to work, high adaptability and an ability to lead his team through turbulent times. Contrary to popular perception, he has proved that an entrepreneur can build business in challenging environments and still emerge successful.

Binod has controlling shares in Nabil, the largest private-sector bank in Nepal, and numerous hotel investments, joint ventures and brands worldwide (such as Taj, Alila, Fern, Radisson and the ultimate wellness destination The Farm at San Benito).

He is a global player in FMCG and is the man behind Wai Wai, the iconic brand from CG, which has earned him the sobriquet Noodle King.  Thanks to Wai Wai, he has 2.3% shares of the world's noodles market. His other business interests include energy, infrastructure, realty, telecom and education among the 15 business verticals he runs within CG. 

Besides business, Binod is an internationally renowned philanthropist. He led the rehabilitation works of Chaudhary Foundation after the 2015 earthquake in Nepal and built almost 3000 houses and 40 school buildings in the affected areas. He has been awarded several humanitarian awards and accolades due to his post-earthquake rebuilding initiatives in Nepal. He has been awarded Honorary Doctorate from His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (Founder, Art of Living) on behalf of Sri Sri University. 

Some of the important positions Binod has held are: Member of Nepal’s First Constituent Assembly, President Emeritus of Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), President of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FNCCI), Advisor to the Prime Minister of Nepal, World Economic Forum’s Global Leader for Tomorrow (1995), Member of World Presidents Organization (WPO/YPO) and he is currently the Member of Parliament.
